Updated: Nov 9, 2023

The Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC is thrilled to welcome a new addition to our dynamic team, the extraordinary Molly Aldous-Johnson. With a resume that reads like a journey through the world of dance, Molly brings a wealth of experience, energy, and a deep passion for the art of movement. Let's get to know her a bit better.

A Journey Through Dance

Molly's dance journey started at the renowned Urdang Academy in London, where she honed her skills and swiftly ascended to join their Elite team. Her dedication and talent led her to Laine Theatre Arts at the age of 16, where she continued to refine her craft. But Molly's quest for excellence didn't stop there. She ventured into the Bird College Conservatoire of Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, earning a place among the best in the industry.

A Performer and Artist

Molly's journey took her from the studio to the stage, where she graced audiences with her talent. Her impressive resume boasts a list of accolades that include roles in productions such as "Rent the Musical," a vibrant work produced by Ewan Jones and Josh Sood. She's also showcased her skills in a captivating commercial video under the direction of Sisco Gomez.

Molly proudly represented her art at the National Television Awards, and her ensemble performance in "Summer of Love" under the guidance of Director Max Reynolds left audiences in awe. She's taken the spotlight as a showcase dancer for Megan Westpfel, explored jazz with Eleanor Wilson, and delivered a mesmerizing performance as a "Material Girl" jazz dancer alongside Bellinda Basu.

But Molly's talents extend beyond the stage. She's ventured into the world of acting, portraying the lead schoolgirl in the captivating play "Girls Like That" directed by Claire Lindsay. As a dedicated dancer, she's contributed her moves to a dance project led by Thomas Ashton and taken part in a variety of remarkable initiatives, from dancing for the Olympic torch to engaging in electrifying flash mobs in cities. Her passion for dance transcends the stage, as she's danced her heart out for the noble cause of McMillan charity.

Molly's Personal Journey

While Molly is a force to be reckoned with in the world of dance, her interests and talents don't stop there. Outside of the dance studio, she enjoys the grace and balance of pilates classes and the power and strength of boxing. Her journey also took her to the prestigious London Shootfighters, where she expanded her skills and knowledge in this dynamic discipline.

A Teacher with a Passion

Molly's journey has been marked by her commitment to both her art and the art of teaching. She's had the privilege of instructing at various dance schools across the country, sharing her love for dance with budding talents. Now, she's thrilled to embark on a new chapter and join the Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC. Molly is brimming with enthusiasm and can't wait to meet the students, share her knowledge, and inspire the next generation of dancers.

As Molly Aldous-Johnson takes her place within our talented team at The Vault, we eagerly anticipate the impact she will have on our dancers and the energy she will bring to our vibrant community. Welcome to The Vault, Molly!
