We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Gymnastics Coach and Club Development Team Member. Located in our purpose-built facility, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining our club's reputation for excellence and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week
Salary: £25,688 - £28,652 per annum (dependent on experience)

About Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC:

Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC is proud to be the recipient of the British Gymnastics Club of the Year award in 2023 for 250+ members. Our club boasts a purpose-built facility, reflecting our commitment to providing the best possible training environment for our members. We take pride in our family-feel ethos and welcome individuals from all backgrounds and diversities within the sport. We offer recreational and competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and adult exercise classes within The Vault. We opened the facility in April 2021 and are looking to develop the club and wider facility in the coming years. It is a great time to join us and be involved as we grow.

Position Overview:

As a gymnastics coach at Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC, you will be responsible for coaching recreational and squad classes, helping our members develop their skills and passion for gymnastics. The role involves working closely with athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and contributing to the overall success and positive atmosphere of our club. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the administration and development of the club within the community. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions for various age groups and skill levels.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to athletes, fostering their development and progression.

• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive training environment.

• Support the development of coaches.

• Actively contribute to the planning and execution of club events, competitions, and festivals.

• Uphold the club's commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the sport.

• Support the administration of the club.

• Set up and monitor the maintenance of  equipment.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 British Gymnastics coaching qualification.

• Previous coaching experience, particularly with a variety of age groups and skill levels.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the gymnastics community.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

• Be punctual and reliable.

• Represent and display the core values of the club.
