MEMBERSHIP SCHEME FOR CARTERTON GYMNASTIC CLUB CIC

Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC fully complies with all the conditions which allow CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club) membership.

The Club will keep subscriptions at levels that will not pose a significant obstacle to people participating. The Club has procedures to ensure those unable to afford the full membership fees can participate fully in the club’s activities for no more than £520 per year.

Adult Club Membership

Over 18 years old
Access to up to 3 adult classes per week (equivalent to 4.5 hours pw)
£1600 per annum. Savings of £798.50 pa.
The liability of each member is limited to £1, being the amount that each member undertakes to contribute to the assets of the Company in the event of it being wound up while he or she is a member or within one year after he or she ceases to be a member; payment of the Company’s debts and liabilities contracted before he or she ceases to be a member; payment of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up, and; adjustment of the right of the contributories among themselves.
Please note you can choose to be a casual user of The Vault paying £10.25 per hour (2025 prices).
Members who are 18 and over automatically become company members with voting rights. However, membership will lapse if participation ceases for 12 consecutive weeks.

Automatically become members upon enrolment to a ‘class’
Members under the age of 18 do not have a voting right

We have a hardship scheme to ensure every member of the community can access membership to Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC.
